An ancient folk musical instrument of the Jing people of Guangxi, the "Du Xianqin" is a single-stringed instrument that has spread to Vietnam, since the Jing people are the only maritime ethnic group among Chinese minorities. For generations, they have lived on islands in Dongxing, Guangxi. In fact, the Jing people share a common heritage with the major ethnic groups of Vietnam.
