Thai, Chinese universities to train professionals in railway development

King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) has signed an agreement with a Chinese university to jointly train rail professionals for the rail industry in Thailand.
KMUTNB President Suchart Siengchin signed the agreement with a representative from China's Central South University. The signing was witnessed by Thai-Chinese Cultural and Relationship Council Chairman Pinij Jarusombat, university teachers and members of the press.
The two universities aim to cultivate engineers who know how to maintain high-speed trains and rails. Both will share research findings and promote the development of human resources in the construction and the maintenance of railway system.
