The China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone has focused on 120 reform projects in seven major areas since it was established in Aug 30, 2019. At present, the pilot tasks of the overall plan deployment have been fully launched, and 55 have already been completed.

As of Jan 1, 2020, the toll stations on the provincial borders of highways were unified and the ETC toll model was officially underway Guangxi’s ETC users had numbered 4.4 million by Dec 25, 2019.
Guangxi has implemented drug procurement reforms in 2019, lowering prices. Costs of 23 generic drugs fell by an average of 41.56 percent. In addition, from Nov 15, 2019, patients who get checklists and examination reports from the same doctor only pay one outpatient consultation fee.
Guangxi has issued supporting measures to encourage multiple forces to participate in the care of infants and children under three years of age. It has also carried out actions to help orphans and unaccompanied children, providing them with living allowances, medical security and educational assistance.
