The Nanning municipal people's government and Enovate Automotive Technology Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Jan 15.
NEVs are a strategic emerging industry that Nanning is focusing on. As one of the landmark industrial projects in the city, Enovate will build a new independent brand, spanning vehicle development and manufacturing with independent intellectual property rights, as well as the R&D and manufacturing of core components. It will also lay out an entire industrial chain of R&D, production, sales, and service of NEVs and spare parts.
According to the agreement, the cooperation between the two parties includes strategic investment, fund cooperation, NEV upstream and downstream industrial chain, as well as key component industry investment. It is expected to gather key auto parts and supporting production projects, as well as explore cooperation in NEV batteries, electric drives, and electronic control systems to promote the development of the NEV industry in Nanning.
