A medical team consisting of 137 members gathered at the Health Commission of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Jan 27, vowing to fight against coronavirus prevention and control in Hubei province.

The medical team to support Hubei province included a team leader, a liaison, 40 doctors and 95 nurses. The medical team members were formed by employees of 13 medical institutions of Guangxi and divided into six groups, including five for ordinary medical treatment and one for critically ill medical treatment.

In order to protect the health of medical team members, the Guangxi government has provided health accident insurance of 1.2 million yuan for every member, as well as two months of phone bills for China Mobile users.
