Jiang Liansheng, director of the Commerce Department of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, said in an interview that after understanding the market needs of Hubei province, Guangxi immediately organized procurement and transport, and completed the picking, sorting, packaging, assembly, inspection and loading process in only 16 hours.
Next, Guangxi will arrange two cold chain trains each week to ensure that aid materials donated by all sectors of society arrive in Hubei province in good condition in a timely, safe manner.
At the end of 2019, the planting area of vegetables in Guangxi reached more than 930,000 hectares, and the output was about 22.01 million tons. From the current production situation, in addition to meeting market demand in Guangxi, the vegetables can also support the market needs of Hubei province.
