Dongxing in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has conducted remote guidance of resumption and production for foreign business operators in its border trade zone that cannot carry out normal business activities due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
Dongxing is an important border port city in China that connects with Vietnam. In recent years, it has taken advantage of its unique geographical location in striving to create a diverse and dynamic frontier market economy that bolsters the border trade between cities. It has promoted the reform of the commercial system, especially the registration system for business operators from Vietnam.

It has registered a total of 214 Vietnamese business households with a capital of 87.52 million yuan and 953 employees.
In order to help foreign business households resume work and production, the Dongxing market supervision department has provided on-site services to instruct Chinese employees and partners of foreign business operators to make COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control efforts, as well as publicized relevant policies for the local resumption of work.

The city also provided high-quality, efficient, and convenient market access services, taking special measures to accelerate examination and approval through online transmission, thus aiding the comprehensive recovery of border trade.
