3,099m summit of Mount Emei reopens to public after 15-year closure

The summit of Ten Thousand Buddhas is at an altitude of 3,099 meters above the sea level, 20 meters higher than the Golden Summit of Mount Emei that is the perfect location to appreciate the breathtaking sea of clouds.

The scenic spot reopened to the public on Thursday after a 15-year absence.
