A disinfectant able to inactivate the COVID-19 virus in one minute has been approved for the market by China's National Health Commission.
According to authoritative detection results from a third party, this disinfectant developed by a company based in Hunan Province is capable of killing the COVID-19 virus in one minute and the inactivation rate can reach 99.99 percent.
Compared with a common disinfectant like ethanol and disinfectants with chlorine, this new product is neither irritating nor corrosive and doesn't have strong oxidization. It can be directly used on skin with disinfecting articles.
With compound quaternary ammonium salt as its main component, it can effectively kill the enveloped virus. With stable properties, it is also light-and-heat-resistant and easy to store. It can effectively sterilize at a very low concentration, and can be taken on a train or a plane because there is no alcohol in it.
