The foreign affairs office of the Nanning municipal people's government will hold the "Insight Tour for Foreign Diplomats in Nanning 2022 & Live Commerce for Consuls General" event on March 28 to seize the opportunities that come from the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), promote trade innovation and development, as well as deepen opening-up and cooperation with ASEAN.
The organizer will invite officials from the consulate generals of Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and Malaysia in Nanning to visit the China Post (ASEAN) Cross-border E-commerce Supervision Center, as well as the Lazada Cross-border Eco-Innovation Service Center in Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Area.
In addition, the organizer has also invited the consul generals of Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam in Nanning to participate in the live e-commerce event. They will showcase exemplary products from their countries, such as durian, latex pillows, and coffee, to domestic consumers, as well as introduce Nanning and Guangxi specialties to Southeast Asian countries through cross-border e-commerce platforms.

The event has also been included in the 2022 Zhuang ethnic group's Sanyuesan Festival special theme promotion series organized by the Commerce Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, helping Nanning to build a core city in the country's dual-circulation development pattern, in which domestic and international economic development reinforce each other.
