A livestream promoting Longsheng county in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was held on April 20, showcasing its many charms.

Yang Yanyan, head of the Guilin publicity department, participated in the livestream, showing online viewers around Longji Terrace Scenic Area, as well as introducing the ethnic culture and local intangible cultural heritage items in Longsheng.

Performances, such as songs from the Miao ethnic group and a bamboo pole dance from the Zhuang ethnic group, were staged, while women of the Yao ethnic group wore traditional clothing decorated with delicate embroidery were invited to demonstrate this handicraft art.

In addition, local delicacies like chili peppers, tea leaves, chicken, duck, and waxberry sugar were promoted by the host to online viewers. 

It is expected that the livestream will contribute to Longsheng's high-quality economic development as part of its efforts to build a world-class tourism city.
