Ten ASEAN countries will occupy an 11,600-square-meter exhibition area at the 19th China-ASEAN Expo, officials from the CAEXPO Secretariat announced on May 18.
The 19th CAEXPO is scheduled to take place both online and on-site in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region's capital Nanning in September and its on-site exhibition will have 5,400 booths with a total area of 102,000 sq m. Twenty-four high-level forums are expected to be held.
Malaysia and Vietnam will book their own exposition halls, while demand for Laos and Myanmar exhibition booths increased by 56 percent and 25 percent, respectively. Singapore and the Philippines will have larger exhibition scales than last year.
The preparations for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership's display areas and themed events are well underway. South Korean and Japanese parties will arrange for local business representatives to visit Guangxi.
Professional exhibitions on tourism, forestry, the sugar industry, and noodles will be upgraded, and the agricultural exhibition will be split from the main exhibition to allow for a larger scale.
