Two “Green Power” projects in Qinghai Province have been certified by Guinness World Records, Wu Xiaohong, an official from the Guinness World Records Liaison Office China, announced on Sunday after on-site verification.
The photovoltaic park in the Hainan Tibetan autonomous prefecture in Qinghai has broken the current world record of 2,245 MW, with an installed capacity of 8,430 MW.
And the Longyangxia Hydro-photovoltaic Complementary Power Station in the province has a total installed capacity of 2,130 MW, ranking first in the world.
