The 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services will be held in Beijing from Aug 31 to Sept 5, Beijing Daily reported on Monday.
Entitled "Cooperate for better development, innovate for a greener future", this year's event will feature an exhibition area of 152,000 square meters and a new environmental services exhibition at the China National Convention Center.
Another eight areas will display telecom, computer and information services, financial services, cultural and tourism services, education services, sports services, supply chain and business services, engineering consultancy and construction services, as well as health services at Shougang Park.
The environmental services exhibition will focus on environmental protection as well as new green and energy-saving technologies and applications.
The telecom, computer and information services exhibition will set up a metaverse exploration area to display new-generation internet technologies and applications.
As of Monday, 25 countries and six overseas organizations have confirmed they will hold offline exhibitions, and 1,089 enterprises from home and abroad will participate online or offline.
Moreover, the fair will likely see over 156 forums, conferences and business negotiations.
