Online sales of licensed Beijing 2022 merchandise, including mascot Bing Dwen Dwen, will stop on Dec. 31 while sales in physical stores will run through Sept. 30., according to the flagship store.
The production of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games mascots Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon merchandise stopped on July 1 as the production contract for licensed Beijing 2022 items expired.
During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, Bing Dwen Dwen went viral on Chinese social media. People formed more than 300-meter-long queues in front of licensed stores on Wangfujing Pedestrians Street in Beijing to buy a Bing Dwen Dwen doll.
