People entering China were thrilled with the simpler and faster procedures they encountered on Sunday, as quarantine requirements and COVID-19 testing were officially scrapped.
Dongxing, a city in Guangxi, finally became busy on this day after being silenced for three years. Tourists from other cities can be seen everywhere in Dongxing such as Wanwei Golden Beach, the landmark square connected by the mountain and the sea in Zhushan Village, and Beilun Estuary National Nature Reserve; Cultural Square at the Golden Beach is parked with various recreational vehicles (RVs) from all over the country, forming a camping base for tourist RVs. Dongxing Port, which is on the Vietnam border, received hundreds of inbound Chinese travelers.
The Youyiguan Scenic Area was opened simultaneously, which attracts a lot of visitors, showing its popularity as a pass with a history of a thousand years.
