More than 200 buses installed with engines made by the Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group were recently exported to Ulan Bator in Mongolia, marking an important milestone in Yuchai's overseas market exploration in the north.
Ulan Bator is the only city in Mongolia that has a public transportation system, and the application of these buses in the city is expected to further improve local bus operations.
In 2022, Yuchai exported more than 5,000 vehicles and the export volume of the vehicles relying on traditional power has increased by 70 percent.
The enterprise noted that it will further increase its export volume of vehicles relying on traditional power in 2023, and will strive to give full play to its advantages in overseas markets.
In recent years, with the help of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), Yuchai has been optimizing its global marketing and service network. It also has a total inventory of 570,000 engines in more than 180 countries overseas.
