During the Chinese New Year holiday, Guangxi posted a strong recovery in tourism.

Located in Leye County, Baise, Dashiwei Tiankeng is a national AAAA-rated scenic area and dubbed the World's Museum of Tiankeng for its unique karst landform. During this holiday, the visits to the scenic area increased significantly. In addition, hotels in Youjiang District, Jingxi, Leye County, and Tianyang District in the City of Baise reported an occupancy rate of more than 75%.

Laibin offered natural sightseeing tours as well as historical and cultural tours covering scenic spots like the Museum of Chinese Yao Nationality in Jinxiu and the Chieftain"s Office, attracting a great number of tourists.

In addition, Guilin launched more than 30 promotional activities about sightseeing, parent-child interaction, and camping, gaining high popularity and attracting so many tourists to throng into local scenic areas. During the holiday, Guilin received 3.758 million visits and achieved a tourism revenue of 3.461 billion yuan.
