On February 10, a container truck loaded with the first export goods of the China-Vietnam cross-border road freight at Nanning International Railway Port drove out of the workplace under customs supervision of Nanning International Railway Port. This shipment is a batch of cardboard boxes, EPE, and other packaging materials provided by Nanning business people. The truck would go through customs at the Aidian port, arrive in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, and then change to a local truck to arrive at the factory as planned. According to Luo Peng, General Manager of Guangxi Wanlida Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., "This channel has brought more convenient and efficient customs clearance services to carriers and clients. Customs clearance and export in Nanning improve the convenience of Nanning enterprises and greatly increase timeliness and efficiency. Generally, goods from Nanning can be guaranteed to reach factories in northern Vietnam within 12 hours."

It is reported that compared with air, sea, railway, and other transportation modes, cross-border road freight is less dependent on infrastructure, flexible, and convenient for loading and unloading, which is suitable for the freight demand of enterprises with high unit prices and high timeliness requirements.
