A delegation of representatives from major industrial parks and foreign trade enterprises in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region left for European countries such as Switzerland and Germany on March 19.
The delegation will hold more than 10 investment promotion events to attract more European enterprises to invest in Guangxi and help distinctive Guangxi products and high-end consumer goods to enter the European market.
The delegation will also visit local business associations such as the China Automobile Standards Internationalization Center (Geneva) and the Swiss representative office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) to help Guangxi enterprises formulate sales channels and economic and trade ties.
Aiming to boost cooperation between Guangxi and Germany in the ceramic industry, the delegation will reach out to famous German enterprises and strive to introduce high-end technologies to Guangxi. This will be done so that Guangxi enterprises will be able to produce more high-end products that adhere to global market demands.
Yang Chunting, director of the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said that the trade between Guangxi and European countries such as Switzerland and Germany is booming, and while bilateral investment is still in the early stages, there is a broad cooperation and development space.
He added that the Guangxi delegation will pay more attention to matchmaking in the chemical, automobile, ceramics, engineering machinery and food processing industries.
