The China (Guangxi) - Germany (Frankfurt) Investment and Trade Fair was held in Frankfurt on March 24, attracting more than 70 representatives from various companies.

This is the first investment and trade promotion event held by Guangxi in Germany since the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to promote Guangxi's economic development, as well as its investment and business environment. Guangxi's preferential policies were also highlighted during this event. This event serves Guangxi in two ways: it attracts German entrepreneurs to invest in Guangxi, and it also enhances the influence of Guangxi products in Germany and the whole EU region.

Friedemann Hoefig, president of the German Small and Medium Business Association said that Germany and China have a close cooperative relationship. He hopeD the two sides can carry out in-depth cooperation.

Zhu Weige, commercial consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt, introduced China's economic development and China-Germany relations. China will work with Germany to develop new technologies, industries, business forms and models, as well as expand investment cooperation in the digital economy, which includes the Internet, industrial Internet, information ports, big data, intelligent manufacturing, e-commerce, marine economy and biomedicine.
