As a city gateway image for motorists from Vietnam as they enter the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, the expressway has been recognized as a regional landmark landscape belt.

Chongzuo Expressway Operation made full use of local farmlands, reservoirs, rivers and the continuous karst landforms, while also preserving the kapok, glossy shower (Cassia surattensis) and other trees along the route to ensure drivers enjoy picturesque scenery.
