Qinzhou Port Customs has recently issued 14 measures to promote its high-level opening-up and development.
These measures include promoting the construction of smart ports, improving its smart supervision systems, facilitating the transformation and upgrading of port-adjacent industries, improving its customs clearance process, and establishing an efficient response system for enterprises.
As a window connecting countries along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Qinzhou Port is striving to develop its foreign trade. In the first four months of this year, the total value of imports and exports from relevant provinces along through Qinzhou Port reached 39.98 billion yuan ($5.66 billion), up 39.5 percent year on year.
"One of the newly introduced service measures is to serve the construction of the trade corridor. We will deepen cooperation with customs offices along the trade corridor, including Chongqing, Sichuan and Hunan provinces," said Chang Peng, general business section chief of Qinzhou Port Customs.
