On May 24, one hundred Lao students arrived at Xishuangbanna in Yunnan on an international passenger train through the China-Laos Railway. From there, they embarked on a journey of exchange and interaction with Chinese students, marking the official launch of the 6th "Belt and Road, People-to-people Bond" Student's Hand-in-Hand Activity and the International Children's Day Activity for Chinese and Lao Students. The event is jointly held by the China Charity Federation and the Ministry of Education and Sports of Laos. Starting from Xishuangbanna, the one hundred young children from Laos will embark on a 16-day journey of friendship to places including Kunming, Beijing, Xi'an, Xiamen, and Guangzhou.(Bo)
