The opening ceremony of the third round of negotiations on the Version 3.0 of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (FTA) took place on June 25 in Kunming, Yunnan Province.

Wang Shouwen, China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce, noted that the construction of Version 3.0 China-ASEAN FTA will further enhance the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and ASEAN. Wang also said that by increasing cooperation in the digital economy, green economy, and supply chain industries, the two sides will embrace strengthened high-quality development of economic and trade relations and regional economic integration.
