The Initiative on China-Mainland Southeast Asia Port Smart Connectivity Cooperation in Cross-border Logistics  was launched on June 28 in Pingxiang, a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Chongzuo, Guangxi located on the border between China and Vietnam.

Multi-level communication and coordination systems are being established for 20 key land border ports such as Youyiguan Port, Dongxing Port, Mohan Port, Densavan Port, and Thakhek Port across China and Mainland Southeast Asia, to promote digital and intelligent development, facilitate investment in logistics and supply chain, and make customs clearance more convenient.
