The market at the Dulong Port, located on the China-Vietnam border, has officially opened and is expected to further enhance local economic growth and industrial development, according to local Border Opening Service Center.

Dulong Port, located in Dulong Town, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Southwest China’s Yunnan Province, serves as a vital gateway between Yunnan and Vietnam.

Covering an area of 2.07 hectares, the Dulong border trade market has established a mutual assistance community, with more than 1,200 members.

The border residents utilize mobile APP "Bianhutong" (Border Mutual Exchange) and leverage facial recognition technology to conduct declaration procedures on-site. The border residents themselves need only to use their mobile phones at home to conduct transactions in the mutual market

The first batch of goods, purchased by eight local residents, passed inspection and clearance on Friday, marking the official launch of the border market.

To accelerate port development, Maguan County has restored general trade and personnel clearance on March 30 and June 9, 2023.

Trading between border residents occurs within 20 kilometers of China's land border, which takes place at designated open points or specified markets approved by the government, within the prescribed limits of value or quantity.
