The Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and Malaysia have maintained strong relations for years, established sister port relations and launched the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" initiative.

In recent years, the two sides have witnessed more frequent people-to-people exchanges and closer commerce and trade and Malaysia has become an important economic partner of Guangxi.

Sabah officials that their state would take the tour as an opportunity to explore new models for practical cooperation with Guangxi.

That's especially in the field of science and technology, with technological innovation to help social progress and benefit people in both regions.
