The final of the 2023 Chinese Bridge – Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students & Chinese Show for Foreign Primary School Students in Thailand was held in Bangkok on July 15. A total of 489 students from 415 primary and secondary schools participated in the competition, reaching a new high.

Wu Zhiwu, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the People"s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand, said that learning Chinese enables students to feel the profound Chinese civilization and get more opportunities for future development. He hoped that contestants would take the "Chinese Bridge" contest as a new starting point, continue to learn Chinese well, build a bridge of friendship between the two peoples, and strive to be "non-governmental ambassadors" for exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand.
