The "Read and Embrace the World" 2023 Nanning International Book Reading & Sharing Session was held on July 15 at the Qingxiu District Library in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The aim of this sharing event was to use books as a medium to enhance understanding and communication between Nanning and the world, with domestic and foreign guests attending to discuss pressing related issues.

Pan Fengren, the vice principal of Wuyi Middle Road School in Nanning, shared her firsthand experience of teaching in Thailand and her views on dealing with foreign cultures. She then encouraged young people to spend more time reading, as it helps them to not only gain wisdom, but also give them the power to "travel thousands of miles."
