UnionPay International, a subsidiary of China UnionPay, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Bank of Cambodia in Phnom Penh on July 10, agreeing to promote cross-border QR code business interconnection and serve the cross-border mobile payment needs of Chinese and Cambodian residents in both directions.

It is understood that after the cooperation, Cambodian residents can directly use their domestic e-wallets to pay in the global UnionPay QR code network, meeting the needs for mobile payment in China or cross-border mobile payment. Cambodia"s QR code will also support the Yunshanfu app and commercial bank apps in China that have access to the Yunshanfu platform by aggregating UnionPay's payment information. (Bo)
