On the afternoon of July 24, the first China-Vietnam freight train (Yanzhao) departed from Shijiazhuang International Land Port for Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, marking that Shijiazhuang has opened up a land trade channel to Vietnam. It carries 46 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) of goods, mainly hardware, fertilizer and other products produced in Hebei, with a value of more than RMB 5 million.

The train leaves China from Pingxiang Port in Guangxi and arrives at Yen Vien Station in Hanoi, Vietnam. The journey of more than 2,700 kilometers lasts for about seven days. It is planned to provide one trip per week since the day. (Bo)
