On August 3, the ceremony to inaugurate the third ring road  constructed by Shanghai Construction Group  in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, was held. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador  to Cambodia Wang Wentian attended the inauguration ceremony.

With a length of about 53 kilometers, the newly minted ring road encircling the capital will facilitate the transport of an increasing amount of goods in and out of the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port and allow people to travel from one area to another along the route conveniently. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said the third ring road was another testament to the fruitful cooperation between Cambodia and China under the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Cambodia-China community with a shared future.
