On August 14, ASEAN-China Digital Economy Workshop, sponsored by Zhejiang University and undertaken by the Centre for International Studies on Development and Governance at Zhejiang and Zhejiang University (CiSDG), was opened at Zhejiang University. It gathered more than 50 participants from government authorities, the industrial circle and academia of six ASEAN countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar.

The digital economy has become a key force in reorganizing global factor resources, reshaping the global economic structure and incurring changes in the global competition landscape. China and ASEAN are accelerating the establishment of a digital economy partnership to build a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future. (Bo)
