Luocheng Mulam autonomous county's Tianhe town is known as "fruit town" because of its year-round production of the crops.
Leveraging its rich natural resources, favorable climate and picturesque landscapes, the town has developed its fruit industry with rural vitalization.
To date, over 12,000 mu (800 hectares) of land in the town have been cultivated with various varieties of fruit such as passion fruit, peaches and watermelons.
The town has promoted the construction of the Tianhe Valley Agri-tourism Complex and the Gaoling Rainbow Valley Tourist Park, combining cultivation, production, sightseeing and leisure activities.
