4 new high-speed rail stations get ready to serve Hechi

The Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway has four new high-speed rail stations located in Hechi city, namely Hechi West Station, Du'an Station, Huanjiang Station and Yong'an Town Station, which are getting ready to start operations.

Hechi West Station is situated in Dongjiang town in Jinchengjiang district. The newly constructed station building covers an area of 12,000 square meters and can handle up to 2,500 passengers simultaneously.

The central part of the station's waiting hall is themed around the famous scenic spot in the Hechi region, Bama Ming River. The columns and beam ventilators are adorned with bronze drums, creating a rich spatial effect that reflects local cultural design elements.

Du'an Station is located in Liuli village, Chengjiang town, in Du'an Yao autonomous county. It is a small station with a floor space of 8,000 sq m and a height of 24 meters.

It's designed to seamlessly blend in with the surrounding majestic peaks and rivers. Every detail showcases the charm of the Yao ethnic group.

Huanjiang Station is located in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county of Hechi city. It's a small railway passenger station with a total floor space of about 8,000 sq m and a height of 21.3 meters.

The overall design highlights the beauty of the local pristine environment and incorporates the regional cultural characteristics of Huanjiang, showcasing the charm of the Maonan ethnic group.

Yong'an Town Station is situated in Yong'an town, Du'an Yao autonomous county. It is a small station building with a floor space of about 1,500 sq m and a height of 13.1 meters.

The Guinan High-speed Railway spans a total length of 481 km and is the first high-speed railway in southwestern China with a maximum speed of 350 km per hour. The Guizhou section was opened for operation on Aug 8, while the Guangxi section is also set to commence operations in September.
