The 2023 China Mobile SEA Cooperation Conference was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 1. The Conference had the theme "Embrace Digitalization and Collaboratively Shape an Intelligent Future." Attendees and speakers included Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN; Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Indonesia's Coordinator for Cooperation with China and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment; Budi Arie Setiadi, Minister of Communications and Informatics of Indonesia; and Shi Zhongjun, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre. More than 300 people attended the Conference, including representatives from intergovernmental organizations and government agencies of Southeast Asian countries, leading operators and ICT enterprise partners, internationally renowned experts and scholars, and key media outlets.
