On September 9, the vessel "Kota Ratna" carrying 20 tons of Musang King durian from Raub District, Malaysia, successfully docked at Dalanping South Operation Area in Qinzhou Port area of Beibu Gulf Port. This is the first time in the history of Kuantan Port that whole durian fruits are shipped. Along the route of "Kuantan Port–Beibu Gulf Port–Sichuan and Chongqing, China," Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Logistics Co., Ltd. used cold chain logistics facilities throughout the multimodal transport. These durian fruits will appear at the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) to be held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from September 16 to 19.

Musang King durian is known as "gold on the tree" while Raub District, located in Pahang, east Peninsular Malaysia, is recognized as "home of Musang King ." Musang King durian fruits selected by Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Logistics Co., Ltd. came from old trees in high mountains of Malaysia. The fruits were sorted and immediately frozen using liquid nitrogen after they ripened and fell off the trees in the local orchards. Later, they were placed in cold chain logistics facilities with the temperature of minus 18 degrees centigrade and sent directly to Yudong Cold Storage in Nanning, Guangxi  through multimodal transport, which ensured the most authentic taste of the durian.
