The 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) has safely received all of its imported exhibits, with the last batch having arrived in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sept 12.
The total exhibition area of this year's CAEXPO will reach 102,000 square meters, with foreign exhibition areas accounting for over 30 percent of the total. The number of imported exhibits amounts to 150,000 items and weighs 2,945 metric tons, which is more than triple that of the previous year.
He Qiu, a member of Nanning Customs' on-site supervision department at the CAEXPO, said that this year's imported exhibits mainly include various specialty foods from ASEAN countries, such as biscuits, coffee, chocolate products, beverages and seasonings. Other imported products, such as skincare, accessories and household items, will also be showcased at the event.
In order to better serve the 20th China-ASEAN Expo, Nanning Customs has tailored "15 Long-term Facilitation Measures for Nanning Customs' Service at the CAEXPO," which ensures convenient services for participating enterprises and personnel. This includes simplifying exhibition filing procedures, fast-tracking approval for authorized exhibits, and setting up on-site rapid testing laboratories.
It is expected that Nanning Customs will ensure efficient customs clearance, supervision, and policy consultation for the CAEXPO, guaranteeing its success.
