Located at the border between China and Vietnam, Detian-Ban Gioc Transnational Waterfall is Asia's first and world's fourth largest transnational waterfall. The Sino-Vietnam Detian-Ban Gioc Cross-border Tourism Cooperation Zone started trial operation on September 15.

During the trial operation of the cooperation zone, the management mode of group reservation, limited number of groups, time-limited cross-border, group entry and exit, and limited sightseeing routes will be implemented, and it is only open to tourists holding passports and entry and exit permits of China and Vietnam. Customs clearance inspection measures for group entry and exit shall be implemented for cross-border tourist passages. The checkpoints are open at 10:00 a.m. Beijing time every day, and customs clearance inspection will be stopped after 15:00 a.m. Tour groups return to their respective territories before 17:00 a.m. Each tour group shall spend no more than 5 hours on the other side of the border.
