At the recently held 3rd China-ASEAN Civil Aviation Cooperation Forum in Nanning, Guangxi, the China-ASEAN Civil Aviation Cooperation and Exchange Center was officially established. The center aims to promote the formation of more diversified mechanisms for cooperation and exchange in the field of civil aviation.

The center will actively build a one-stop open cooperation platform for the whole chain of China-ASEAN civil aviation, hold China-ASEAN aviation technology and equipment exhibitions, carry out joint research on issues of common concern to the China-ASEAN air transport market, construct a China-ASEAN civil aviation capacity building demonstration zone, strengthen the airline network connectivity between China and ASEAN countries, and promote the coordinated development of aviation and cultural tourism.
