In a recent announcement by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Hechi has added 22 items to the list of Guangxi Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), including the Donglan Bronze Drum Legend, Maonan Opera, and Luocheng Wild Grape Wine Brewing Techniques.

The announcement unveiled 201 representative items in the ninth batch of the autonomous region's ICH list. These items span various categories, such as folk literature, traditional music, traditional crafts, traditional medicine, and folk customs.

Furthermore, a new group of "old Guangxi brands" is currently under public review, with 11 businesses being proposed as "Guangxi time-honored brand" enterprises in 2023. Among them, one company from Hechi, Guangxi Huicheng Food, has made the list.
