On October 13, the opening ceremony of the 2023 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition (CAEXPOTE) was held at the Guilin International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The theme of this year’s CAEXPOTE is "To Meet on the Beautiful Land, to Start Together Hand in Hand." It aims to showcase the latest developments in the tourism industry of China and ASEAN countries, deepen visitors' understanding of cultural tourism in China and ASEAN countries, and promote exchange and cooperation in the tourism industry between China and ASEAN countries on a deeper level and in a broader field. Related cultural tourism forums, investment promotion conferences, and cultural tourism promotion meetings were held simultaneously with the CAEXPOTE, which featured participation from institutions and enterprises of 37 countries and regions, including all 10 ASEAN countries.
