The list of key villages and towns for rural tourism in Guangxi in 2023 was recently announced. Hechi community in Hechi town, Jinchengjiang district, Baxue village in Wuzhuan town, Donglan county, and Changli village in Wuai town, Nandan county made the list.

Hechi community is the location of the government of Hechi town and boasts abundant red culture and ecological tourist attractions. The area also boasts attractions such as Liushuiyan Waterfall, Huangguan Bridge, ancient city walls, and Confucian Temple.

Hechi community is making use of its rich red culture attractions and has built the Hongse Fengfei Rural Complex Tourist Service Center, parking lots, and Yinma River Camping Base. It also boasts well-equipped, clean, and hygienic hotels and restaurants. Local delicacies such as roast duck, tofu dishes, sour soup, snails, and ginger candies are popular among tourists.

Baxue village is located in the southern part of Wuzhuan town and boasts an abundance of red and historical tourism attractions.

Changli village is located about 15 kilometers from Wuai town. The village is known for its picturesque scenery, pleasant climate, and abundant tourism attractions. The Danlu Mountain Scenic Area is located in the village.
