On Oct 17, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced the third group of national agricultural product quality and safety counties and cities. Three counties in Guangxi were selected, including Tiane county in Hechi.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs began granting the designation in 2021, with 95 counties and cities selected this time around.

The establishment of a national agricultural product quality and safety county and city revolves around the standardized production and intelligent supervision of agricultural products. It has become a benchmark and model for national agricultural product quality and safety work.
