President director of Indonesia's largest cellular operator on Thursday appreciated the support offered by Huawei and expected to boost digital services after signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Chinese telecom giant.
Telkomsel and Huawei signed the MoU on Tuesday to further explore and develop latest technology trends, as well as build high-quality networks to be distributed across the Southeast Asian country's pioneer cities, giving optimal connection experiences and digital services for individual and enterprise customers.
Telkomsel President Director Hendri Mulya Syam said Huawei has supported his company in achieving consistent levels of growth, providing products and services oriented to customer experience, and giving added value.
He has high hopes that the partnership would continue to open opportunities for maximum benefits for companies, industry and society.
"Hopefully by strengthening collaboration with Huawei, we can accelerate the development of Indonesia's digital ecosystem together," said Syam.
Huawei's Rotating and Acting Chairman Ken Hu expressed his gratitude to Telkomsel for its unfailing trust and support all the time.
"Since we started working together in 2006, we have overcome many challenges. Huawei and Telkomsel have grown together," he said, adding that Huawei is committed to helping connect Indonesia and improving the quality of life of people in the archipelago.
As the world becomes increasingly digital and smarter, the company also continues to innovate to provide the best support for the digital transformation that Telkomsel is carrying out. "We are ready to take this partnership to the next level," Hu said.
