Hechi is holding the 11th edition of the Guangxi Mass Art Performance from Nov 15 to 20, after sending 164 programs to participate in the previous 10 events and achieving impressive results.
Since 2012, Guangxi has been hosting the Guangxi Mass Art Performance, which has become the largest and most prestigious event of its kind in the region.
Hechi boasts a long history of bronze drums, folk songs and silk culture, as well as rich red revolutionary culture and the intangible cultural heritage of its minority groups.
The Hechi writers group, which has emerged and gradually grown since the 1980s and is represented by such Hechi writers as Dong Xi, who won the 11th Mao Dun Literature Award, is a "cultural peak" that has risen up from the local literary landscape.
In recent years, the city has highlighted its cultural development, enriching people's lives.
The holding of the Guangxi Mass Art Performance is said to showcase Hechi's significant cultural development in terms of both quantity and quality.
