The 2023 China-ASEAN Health Industry Summit and Health Industry Expo will be held on Dec 8-10 in Nanning – capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region – officials announced at news conference recently.
The event is being jointly organized by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Guangxi government.
Overall, the summit aims to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of the development opportunities in the ASEAN health industry and create a springboard for expanded commerce between China and ASEAN in the sector.
The summit will feature a series of activities – including an opening ceremony, a forum on the development of the health and longevity industry, a new product launch, procurements matchmaking, an e-commerce livestreaming festival and investment visits.
Through exhibitions showcasing new achievements and products in the health industry, as well as keynote speeches by experts and entrepreneurs, the summit is expected to augment exchanges and trade between China and ASEAN in the sector.
A series of business activities will be organized to facilitate trade matchmaking in various fields – such as health medicine, medical technology, health food and sports supplies – in order to meet the wide-ranging needs of society.
This is expected to pave the way for more top-quality health products, technologies and concepts from ASEAN to enter the Chinese market, while also assisting domestic health brands in entering the regional trading bloc and the global market.
