On November 29, the Second Beilun River Bridge, which connects the Dongxing Port in China and Mong Cai Port in Vietnam, commenced passenger services.

The National Gate Joint Inspection Building at the Dongxing Port (Second Beilun River Bridge), Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is known as the highest, longest, and largest land port gateway along the southern border of China, with a total construction area of 50,100 square meters. The National Gate Joint Inspection Building combines multiple functions such as showcasing China"s gateway image, port joint inspection, and comprehensive office operations. On both sides of the joint inspection area, there are eight manual inspection channels and eight fast channels for outbound travelers, as well as eight manual inspection channels and eight fast channels for inbound travelers respectively. These fast channels allow passengers with valid certificates to go through customs in approximately 10 seconds.

Dongxing Port (Second Beilun River Bridge) is constructed to handle an annual volume of 10 million inbound and outbound passenger trips, with sufficient provisions for future expansion to support customs clearance for 20 million to 30 million people annually. (Xiaru)
