The New Year Flower Season Exhibition kicked off at Nanhu Park in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Dec 7. Over 10,000 square meters of the park has been covered with roses, becoming a popular spot for people to admire and take photos.

Since 2017, the park has introduced over 60 different rose varieties, totaling about 20,000 plants. In recent years, other plant varieties have also been introduced, which are loved by the citizens.

Li Ying of the Nanhu Park office, said that the New Year Flower Season Exhibition at Nanhu Park will last until mid-January next year. The roses are currently in full bloom, and a series of activities will be organized to enrich the cultural lives of citizens and tourists, including ecological classes, flower arrangement classes, and photography exhibitions.
